We are a Northern Caving Club founded in May 1954 and based in the Yorkshire Dales. We welcome new members and meet monthly on Saturdays and Wednesdays but in reality go Caving as often as we can.
Exploration is really important to us. We are working on a number of new and existing projects and are always looking for help if you fancy joining in.
The collection of stories here are only a snippet of the past and the present that is our collective membership and our active club.
Welcome to our site. We hope you enjoy sharing with us the fun we’ve had shared here with you.

New to Caving?
We’re big fans of the New to Caving initiative and have welcomed many novices to our sport over the years. Our members have access to two extensive tackle stores and regular Training events with CIC instructors at a fully equipped local training venue.
